About This Movie

xVoid is something of an underground gem. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and it really leans into that uncanny feeling. You can tell they put a lot into the creature effects; they have this raw, tactile quality that makes them feel almost alive. The pacing is a bit uneven, which can be a double-edged sword—sometimes it drags, but other times it heightens the tension in a really interesting way. The unknown director gives it a certain edge, too; there’s a sense of freedom in the storytelling that's refreshing. The performances are solid, especially considering the budget. It’s a unique blend of horror elements that doesn’t quite follow the typical formula.
