You, Me and Dupree has a laid-back vibe, really captures that early 2000s comedy feel. Owen Wilson's Dupree is a classic slacker archetype, lost and goofy, and you can't help but feel a bit for him. The dynamic between him and Matt Dillon as Carl is an interesting mix of male bonding and chaos. Kate Hudson, as Molly, brings a nice balance to the mix, though her character sometimes feels underwritten. There's a quirky charm here, especially with the physical comedy, like the way Dupree's antics disrupt their newlywed life. The pacing can drag a bit in spots, but the lighthearted moments make it a fun watch, especially for fans of ensemble comedies from that era.
