So, Zus & Zo is this quirky Dutch comedy with a sharp edge. Paula van der Oest does a nice job balancing the wackiness of the three sisters with some real emotional stakes. The sisters are all distinct and their chemistry feels genuine. The pacing is playful, but it can also get a bit frenetic as they scramble to outsmart their brother. Plus, the film's exploration of family dynamics, inheritance, and the absurdity of love adds layers that you might not expect from a comedy. It’s fun to see how they use humor to tackle these themes. The cinematography has a bright, almost pastel vibe that matches the zany atmosphere perfectly. Definitely a unique find in the comedy genre.
